Golden trumpet trees are in bloom

These gorgeous trees are bright and cheery when they bloom in the spring before their leaves emerge. The large, bright yellow, trumpet-shaped flowers can be seen from far away. The golden trumpet tree, Tabebuia chrysotricha, can grow 25-35 feet tall and wide. I have seen them blooming in Orlando so they are hardy enough for Brevard County.
